Workout Wear To Motivate You

Happy Monday babes! I wanted to share my favorite workout clothes, since working out and going to the gym is a big part of my life and is so important for your health and well-being! I find it helps to wear good quality workout clothes that make you look and feel good about yourself. There’s no better motivator then cute workout clothes, am I right. Haha.

My go-to workout gear is Lululemon. I have been wearing Lululemon clothes since basically they first came out with yoga pants. No joke. It’s been yearrrrs of loyalty to Lulu.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I have branched out and tried other brands, less expensive brands…. like Forever 21, the Gap, Old Navy, Aerie. And if I am being honest, nothing really compares to the quality of Lulu. Especially their leggings — I really haven’t found any brands that match the quality of Lulu’s compression and sweat wicking technology. If I am trying to save money I usually stick to workout tops from the above-mentioned brands and splurge on the Lulu bottoms!

So my must have workout bottoms from Lululemon are as follows:

  1. Train Times Pant — these are my go-to workout leggings for the gym & crossfit. Think Bootcamp / intense workouts where you are literally dripping sweat for those intense workouts. Bonus, they are high rise and sweat-wicking.
  2. Wunder Under Pant — these are also high rise and cant take you from your workout to happy hour, because you need balance. Haha. They provide great support and coverage and keep you cool during your workout.
  3. Align Pant —  also high rise and SUPER soft and comfortable. Although I have (and do) workout in these, they really are best for yoga, since they are a super soft fabric they are not meant for those intense workouts. But still, they are one of my favorites just for the comfort and support alone. And if you want the perfect athleisure leggings, you NEED these.

Which brings me to my next point… SIZING. Lululemon tends to fit small. So if you are normally a size 6, don’t be alarmed when the 6 does not fit and you have to size up to an 8. Especially the compression leggings (trian times, wunder under).  I normally wear a size 25, or size 0/2 and I wear a size 4 in Lululemon BOTTOMS. Tops are another story, depending on the style and fit I range from wearing a size 4 to 6 in tops.
